This is a unique time in the history of ASEI. Over the last 35 years, ASEI has transformed from a local grassroots group into a national organization with multiple chapters across the United States, including Michigan, Ohio, Washington D.C., Florida, Southern California, Silicon Valley, Seattle and, now, San Diego (www.asei-usa.org).
ASEI has established itself as a forum for exchanging ideas in science and technology nationwide. All ASEI chapters hold monthly Technical Talks throughout the year to foster continuous learning. Past sponsors of ASEI events include Boeing, Microsoft, Siemens and Sempra.
In addition, every year, for the past 35 years, ASEI has held a National Convention. The National Conventions include multiple cutting edge technical tracks with sessions by industry executives and thought leaders. The National Conventions also include networking events, corporate excellence awards, student scholarships, evening banquets, entertainment and inspirational speakers.
The ASEI So Cal chapter hosted the 2016 National Convention in Los Angeles. http://www.aseiusa.org/AdminUser/CustomPdf/20170406174717_2016_SoCal_Convention-1.pdf This convention accommodated 500 people and was covered by local and national media.
ASEI San Diego’s goal is to create a national network of technology professionals and provide them with a platform for technology exchange, networking, career advancement and community service.
Particularly important to ASEI San Diego is developing the next generation of scientists, engineers and technology professionals in the United States.
On behalf of the entire ASEI San Diego team, we pledge to do all we can to foster the ASEI mission and accomplish our goals.
